Growing up I was always the outgoing girl who loved her body and had so much confidence! But after being in a 5-year marriage where I couldn’t be myself it took a toll on my confidence. After getting out of a bad marriage I always wanted to do something for myself to gain confidence back but always felt like I was “too big” to do a boudoir. Then add on being a working mom and dealing with everyday life. My wants got pushed to the back burner. 

I joined Allure Boudoir a little over 3 years ago when someone told me about Debbie. I’ve reached out to her multiple times to get information on booking a session but would always back out. I thought needed to lose weight before I could even think about booking a session.  

Over the years, I slowly worked on gaining back confidence but still was self-conscious of my belly. I got with my husband 2 years ago who has been my #1 hype man since the day we met. He always pushed me to do stuff for myself, but me being me always felt guilty and put our kids before myself.  

Finally, I told him about a sale Debbie had going on called “Pay Your Age” session. He told me to book it, so I did without even thinking twice about it. When talking to Debbie about the session, she mentioned the different finance options and a thing called “Boudie Bank”. I took advantage of the boudie bank from the moment my session was booked, and I added money weekly. Leading up to my session, Debbie did everything she could to make sure I received all the information I needed to prepare and answered any questions I had. The day of I went in so nervous and had it in my head that I was going to want Debbie to edit everything she could to make me look “better”. I sat down to get my hair and makeup done by Telly and felt instantly beautiful! When Debbie started photographing, she showed me all the poses and how to pose and was definitely a hype girl throughout the whole shoot! I left feeling so much more confident and was loving my body! 

At my reveal, I fell in love with all my images and fell in love with my body all over again! At the time of the reveal, I was able to use the money I put in the boudie bank towards the collection I chose! For anyone thinking of doing a session, I highly recommend it! The feeling you have during and after a session is one of the best feelings! I hope everyone is able to experience that feeling at least once in their lifetime! I can't wait to book a couple session next!
